Breaking the barrier to go from concept to successful operationalization of intelligent process automation needs companies to adapt a culture of experimentation. Bridging the chasm between PoC purgatory and operational insights can be achieved with quantifiable business benefits. In this talk we explored the following:
• Importance of observability in intelligent process automation – A Case for AIOps
• Model thinking and Experimentation with A|B, champion challenger, and multivariate learning
• Feedback loops with HITL, and reinforcement learning to enable successful experimentation.
• Augmented Intelligence as a safety net to enable experimentation culture.
In this panel discussion with with @AndraeKirkland and @Excel_Innovate I elaborate on examples from AI and Machine Learning implementations, specifically those focused on process mining, NLP, intelligent process automation, and workflow orchestration. The talk was based on my work with UST SmartOps™, an AI-powered Cognitive Automation Platform that learns your business processes while intelligently digitizing and optimizing manual workflows.
