AWS Certified Machine Learning specialty is a great way to learn & validate expertise in building, training, tuning, & deploying AI and Machine Learning Models on AWS.

My primary motivation for pursuing a certification is to gain personal satisfaction and professional development - to have an organized learning experience and to validate my knowledge. To get your creative juices flowing, setting a goal to achieve an industry certification can be just what you need. The achievement of a certification will also provide you with greater assurance that you are a subject matter expert. Obtaining certification and connecting with other professionals in the field is invaluable. As a Microsoft Regional Director, and an AI MVP, I do have all the key Microsoft certifications which helped me a lot in gaining insights into Azure AI/ML eco-system.
Last week, my team and I participated in the Amazon Re:Invent Conference. David Lazar, Digital Architect @ UST and a great friend, and I made a challenge to get some of the AWS certifications. Yesterday I took, and passed AWS Machine Learning Specialty exam. 65 questions, 3 hours – it’s a great learning experience – I recommend it to everyone who works on AWS and ML to take it. Great way to get in some organized learning for data science on AWS. David also passed his AWS Certified architect, Professional Certification Kudos!
Certifications are important to your business - For example, AWS partner network certification distinctions display the amount of active AWS Certifications an APN company has achieved, providing an additional way for businesses to demonstrate the value of AWS Certifications. A greater number of AWS Certified individuals within an organization means more AWS experts available to assist with migration to and optimization of AWS for customers, a win-win.
